Shelter Afrique, a pan-African housing Development bank, has pledged commitment to support the development of housing in Nigeria.
Speaking on the 2nd day of FHA at 50 anniversary organized by the Federal Housing Authority, the Managing Director and CEO, Shelter Afrique, Thierno- Habib Hann made the commitment.
He highlighted the lodes of challenges impeding the speedy Sustainable growth of Housing in Nigeria, stating they were surmountable with the right structures in place.

He said “Many of our cities are slums, using the PPP ( public private partnerships model) effectively, we can change this”.
He further added that the Pan-African DFI would continue to support Nigeria. He opined “Nigeria is one of our biggest markets. We would love to replicate our models in places such as Abuja. We would explore more partnerships with the Nigerian Government”.
The CEO spoke on the 2nd day at the ongoing anniversary of the Federal Housing Authority even as the Authority explores better ways of service delivery.
