Tinubu Prioritizes Housing Reforms to Tackle Nigeria’s Housing Deficit – Dangiwa

Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Arc Ahmed Dangiwa, reaffirmed President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to addressing Nigeria’s housing deficit.

Speaking during a meeting with OUR SOURCE, Dangiwa emphasized the government’s focus on implementing aggressive housing sector reforms nationwide for development.

He highlighted that the Renewed Hope Cities project includes constructing residential buildings across all six geopolitical zones and the Federal Capital Territory.

Additionally, the government is building Renewed Hope Estates in thirty states, with each state receiving two hundred and fifty housing units.

Dangiwa also announced plans to construct at least one hundred housing units in every local government across Nigeria.

This initiative, part of the Renewed Social Housing scheme, will deliver seventy-seven thousand, four hundred housing units nationwide when completed.

He assured that his ministry remains committed to reducing housing deficits and fostering urban development across all regions.

Dangiwa urged media collaboration to enhance public awareness of government initiatives aimed at improving housing conditions for Nigerians.
