Stakeholders in media and housing sector in Nigeria, have hailed the debut of the first housing television in Africa “Housing TV Africa”.
This was made know during a courtesy visit yesterday to Housing TV Africa’s studio Gudu, FCT Abuja. Engr Chris Mamidu a media veteran and broadcast media expert laud the ingenuity behind creating a housing television station, as ”unique and first of its kind”.
He commended Festus Adebayo the GMD of FESADEB Media Group and MD/CEO Housing TV Africa for his long-term contribution to the broadcasting industry and lending voice to the needy for affordable housing
He said: “Your contribution to the industry is highly commendable and enviable. Your content is great and when I heard about your television station, I know it is the right thing to do. And I told myself I have to be here, to pay a courtesy visit. I have been monitoring your program; Housing Development on AIT and TVC for many years and your event that bring together leading stakeholders from many countries in housing sector in Nigeria-African International Housing Show (AIHS). It has always been unique and informative. I have the same feeling about this television station you are doing. It will be great. Keep up the good work!”

Another prominent real estate investor and business Mongol Chief Ola Adetokunbo, said: “This is a step in the right direction.The content is unique and no one can proud of having the content u av gathered in the last 25years .And at this point in time, Nigeria needs more of creative media content to showcase what we are doing in the housing industry. I am very happy this is happening in my life time. You are changing the game in the media and housing industry.”
He therefore called on the public and stakeholders in all sectors to give support to Festus Adebayo’s and his innovative team to change how things are done in the sector now that the country is having an excellent minister of housing who believe in innovative team.
Housing TV Africa is now on StarTimes Channel 149 for the general public with mind blowing contents that revolved around housing, social and lifestyle.The channel will be on dstv from March, 2024
