The FCT Police Command has confirmed six fatalities and 14 burned vehicles after a Dangote truck crash at Nyanya Bridge.
Police spokesperson SP Josephine Adeh described the incident as devastating, stating the truck lost control and rammed into traffic.
Emergency responders battled flames to rescue victims, but six people succumbed to injuries. Their remains were deposited at Karu General Hospital Morgue.
Fire service personnel and security agencies contained the fire, restoring normal traffic flow after the tragic incident.
Authorities assured the public of an ongoing investigation and urged caution while driving in high-traffic areas.
