He emphasized the sector’s vital contribution to fostering economic growth and improving the overall quality of life for residents.
Speaking at the 31st Annual John Wood Ekpenyong Memorial Lecture and 2025 Fellows Induction of NIESV, Sanwo-Olu highlighted achievements.
He noted significant progress made in delivering various housing projects statewide, pledging intensified efforts before his tenure concludes.
Represented by Secretary to the State Government, ‘Bimbola Salu-Hundeyin, Sanwo-Olu praised NIESV President Victor Alonge’s collaborative leadership.
He commended the partnership between the state government and NIESV, which has promoted sustainable urban development across Lagos State.
Sanwo-Olu stressed estate surveyors’ and valuers’ crucial role in shaping real estate, especially in efficient tenement rate administration.
The governor expressed sincere gratitude upon receiving the prestigious Award of Excellence presented by the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors.
Additionally, he congratulated Senate President Godswill Akpabio on his conferment as an Honorary Fellow of NIESV.
Sanwo-Olu also celebrated the induction of 52 distinguished professionals as Fellows, acknowledging their dedication to industry excellence.
He urged newly inducted Fellows to continue contributing significantly to the real estate sector and broader national development goals.
