REDAN to Host 5,000 Estate Developers at 16th Annual General Meeting in Uyo on Wednesday, April 23

The Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN) is set to host over 5,000 estate developers, stakeholders, and industry professionals at its 16th Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Conference scheduled to take place on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

This was made known in a statement released by the President of REDAN, Prince Akintoye Adeoye, in Abuja.

According to him, the conference will serve as a critical platform for dialogue, collaboration, and innovation in addressing the country’s housing challenges.

Themed “Affordable and Sustainable Housing: Bridging the Gap,” the 2025 AGM aims to spotlight pressing issues in Nigeria’s housing sector while exploring feasible solutions that prioritize both affordability and sustainability.

Rev. Surv. Ugochukwu Chime, the Chairman of COPEN Group and a respected voice in the built environment sector will deliver the keynote address and declare the conference open. His leadership is expected to bring depth and direction to the discussions and outcomes of the conference.

HE Ambassador Assam Assam SAN, former Nigeria ambassador to Russia is the second keynote speaker at the event

Many high-profile guests are expected at the event including all Presidents of professional bodies in the built environment and the Founder of Nigerian leading housing advocacy organization, HDAN, alongside other eminent personalities, policymakers, and professionals

REDAN’s AGM has consistently served as a rallying point for developers, financiers, government agencies, and other key actors to align strategies and promote policies that support affordable housing delivery.

As the nation continues to grapple with its housing deficit, this year’s gathering in Uyo is anticipated to generate actionable insights and strengthen partnerships toward a more inclusive and resilient housing sector.
