In a recent development, President Bola Tinubu has appointed Deputy Comptroller-General (DCG) Kemi Nanna Nandap as the new Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS).
This appointment, effective from March 1, 2024, follows the expiration of Mrs. Caroline Wura-Ola Adepoju’s term as Comptroller-General on February 29, 2024.
DCG Nandap brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having previously served as the Deputy Comptroller-General in charge of the Migration Directorate of the NIS. Her tenure in this capacity has been marked by a commitment to excellence and a dedication to the service of Nigeria.
President Tinubu expressed confidence in DCG Nandap’s ability to lead the NIS, highlighting her track record of exemplary service and leadership.
He also commended Mrs. Adepoju for her service as Comptroller-General and wished her the best in her future endeavors.
