Ondo, Ekiti to Face Two-Month Power Outage

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has announced plans for essential maintenance on the 132kV Akure-Osogbo transmission line.

According to a notice, this upgrade will disrupt power supply in Ondo and Ekiti states for two months.

The maintenance, which includes the installation of Optical Ground Wire (OPGW), will cause daily power outages lasting nine hours, from July 1 to August 31.

The TCN expressed regret for the inconvenience, stating, “We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may cause and kindly solicit your patience and understanding
