Nigeria@64: AIHS celebrates key partners for contribution to Housing sector development

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Africa biggest housing event , Africa International Housing Show (AIHS), Festus Adebayo, has commended some leading organisations in the housing industry in Nigeria.

This is contained in a statement he released in Abuja on Tuesday to commemorate Nigeria’s 64th independence anniversary.

The CEO said this is an appropriate time to celebrate companies in the housing and construction industry that have impacted in many ways towards the development of the sector.

As we celebrate Nigeria independence and the development have taken place in the housing industry in the last 64 years, we cannot forget those organisations that have carved niche for themselves in manufacturing our sectors building materials and home interiors.

He listed many organisations, among which are: Dangote Cement, Lafarge, Nigerite/Eternit, Sinoma,CDK industries,Royal Ceramics, Brain and Hammers, Cosgroves, Urban Shelter,UPDC, among others.

Adebayo said these organisations have created so many jobs and therefore commendation and we are using this opportunity of this anniversary for an improved enabling environment for them to thrive.

Narrating the success story of the international housing show during the celebration of Nigeria’s independence in a dinner hosted by one of the partners in Abuja, the CEO thanked all the organisations that have attended aihs since it was established and assured of better days ahead in Nigeria.He further stated that aihs is ready to support all of them in there business development and marketing at no cost.

Among the companies also in the list are Nigerian Mortgage Refinance company place, Federal mortgage bank of Nigeria ,family Homes funds Ltd, Cantata Town planners, Julius Berger PLC( AFP), Modern shelter Ltd, Hall7 Real Estate, GMH, first Trust mortgage bank, FHA mortgage bank among others

The 18th edition of the AIHS was hosted in July in Abuja, and was attended by over 21 countriesbwith over 15,000 participants attendance in the five days event
