The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) arrested 376 illegal immigrants engaged in fraudulent activities across different locations in Ogun State.
They were apprehended during a joint raid by officers from Ogun State Command and Zone A headquarters, following credible intelligence.

According to Ogun State Comptroller Muhammed Akadri, profiling revealed 334 were Cameroonian, 27 Ghanaian, 26 Beninese, and one Togolese.
The arrested individuals included 251 males and 125 females, all between the ages of 25 and 30 years old.
Investigations showed they entered Nigeria through unauthorized routes without valid residence cards or any necessary travel documents.

Akadri confirmed that Comptroller General Kemi Nanna Nandap has ordered their immediate repatriation to their respective countries.
