The Managing Director, Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN), Shehu Usman Osidi, has pledged that his leadership will be anchored on transparency and innovation, calling for collaboration and support for the new crop of executives at the Bank.
Osidi made this known while making his acceptance speech at the formal handover ceremony, which took place recently at the FMBN Headquarters, Abuja. He emphasized the need for innovation and creativity in charting a new course for the bank, while also stating that collaboration is key to scale the hurdles in the Mortgage industry and housing Sector as a whole.
He said “It is imperative for us to stand together as a cohesive team. I am committed to running an open, transparent and accountable administration in an atmosphere where teamwork, innovation, professionalism, excellence and staff wellbeing shall thrive. I harbor no doubt about the availability and abundance of the talents that we need to move this bank forward.

The challenges of the housing sector are huge. We know the industry, we know the challenges, and by the grace of God, we will make a difference”.
He also commended the outgoing Managing Director, Madu Hamman and his team for working assiduously to reposition the Bank over the years. Osidi extolled the virtues of the current crop of leaders, stating that the precedents show that the new leadership has the capacity to move the bank forward.

Accompanying Osidi in steering the FMBN to new heights are three executive directors, each bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to their respective roles: Ibidapo Odojukan assumes the position of Executive Director responsible for Finance and Corporate Services.
Muhammad Sani Abdu steps into the role of Executive Director overseeing Loans and Mortgage Services. Chinenye Anosike takes charge as the Executive Director of Business Development and Portfolios.
