An unspecified number of people have been trapped as a four-storey building collapsed in Unity House, Area 11 by Nkwere Street in the Garki area of the Federal Capital Territory.
Housing TV gathered that the incident occurred on Monday night when occupants of the building were asleep.
The Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh confirmed the incident to Housing TV on Tuesday.

She told our correspondent that three victims had been successfully rescued from the rubble, while the search was still ongoing.
According to the PPRO, “the attention of the National Emergency Management Agency of Nigeria and FCT Development Control has been drawn to the situation, and their personnel has taken charge of the area for robust management of the scene”.
