MTN Nigeria has officially announced plans to construct its new headquarters in Eko Atlantic City, becoming the first telecom company to build there.
MTN’s Long-Term Investment in Lagos
Speaking during the launch of MyLagosApp in Lagos, CEO Karl Toriola confirmed that MTN has acquired land and will begin construction soon.
The telecom giant remains committed to long-term investments in Lagos, reinforcing its position as a key player in Nigeria’s digital economy growth.

This strategic move aligns MTN with other corporations like First Bank, Shell, and TVC, which are relocating to the growing metropolis.
Eko Atlantic: A Growing Business Hub
Eko Atlantic is a self-sustaining urban development project built entirely on reclaimed land along the Lagos coast for financial institutions.
It aims to become Nigeria’s new financial hub, offering world-class infrastructure, reliable energy, and modern urban planning for businesses and investors.
MTN’s announcement follows First Bank’s recent groundbreaking ceremony for its green-certified headquarters, attended by Vice President Shettima and industry leaders.
