The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service confirmed no casualties, having successfully contained the fire by 6 a.m.
Margaret Adeseye, Director of Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, stated emergency teams battled flames despite significant access difficulties.

Firefighters from Isolo, Bolade, and Alausa Fire Stations prevented the fire from spreading to surrounding properties and businesses.
Meanwhile, Owode Onirin Market experienced another fire, affecting metallic materials shops, controlled by 5 a.m. firefighters’ intervention.
