In a dramatic showdown in Lagos, Capital Gardens Limited has scored a big victory in court against Mr. Adewale Oladapo, also known as Biggie, and his company, Oretol Nigeria Limited! The action took place at the Yaba/Surulere Judicial Division, where a judge ruled to protect a huge piece of land in Osapa, Lagos.

On March 25, 2025, the honorable Justice E.O. Ashade made it clear that Biggie and his crew can’t mess with the four-hectare land until the case is fully decided. Capital Gardens Limited brought the case to court, and after hearing from their lawyer, Mr. Abraham Oladipupo, the judge said “NO WAY!” to any interference from the defendants.

This land is part of the fancy Hampton Estate, also called Eletu Odibo land, and it’s located in the popular Lekki area. Justice Ashade said the restraining order was super important to keep everything in order and stop any sneaky moves while the legal battle goes on.

But that’s not all! The court also told Capital Gardens to spread the word in newspapers and on social media, warning everyone to steer clear of Biggie and Oretol Nigeria Limited if they’re thinking about buying land there. This is to help protect innocent buyers from getting caught up in any messy legal troubles later on.

The judge asked Capital Gardens to follow all the right legal steps and set the next court date for June 2, 2025. This decision shows that the Lagos State Judiciary is serious about keeping property fraud at bay and making sure everyone plays by the rules when it comes to land ownership.
