The Lagos State Government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Summa Group for the construction of the long-anticipated Lekki-Epe International Airport.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu announced the development on Saturday, emphasizing that the airport is a key infrastructure project aimed at enhancing connectivity, driving economic growth, and attracting global investment.

“This groundbreaking initiative is an essential part of our vision to improve connectivity in Lagos, stimulate economic growth, and draw in global investments,” Sanwo-Olu stated.
The Lekki-Epe International Airport is expected to ease transportation challenges, enhance infrastructure, and reinforce Lagos’ status as a leading economic hub in Africa.
