The United Kingdom’s Labour Party achieved a decisive victory in the country’s general election, securing a majority in the House of Commons with over 326 seats.
Labour leader Keir Starmer, speaking at a dawn rally in London, emphasized the gravity of the mandate: “A mandate like this comes with a great responsibility.” As results continued to pour in, the BBC projected Labour to win 410 seats, leaving the Conservatives with 144.
