Two kidnapped victims, Mohammed Danladi and Nasiru Yusuf, were killed in Gwargwada, Kuje Area Council, after ransom delays.
They were abducted alongside a herder and a woman at Gwombe junction, along the Gwargwada-Rubochi road, on Wednesday.
A family member, Shuaibu Abdullahi, revealed that kidnappers demanded ₦500,000 each, but only ₦500,000 was raised.
“The kidnappers’ leader called Friday; we informed them about the amount raised, unaware the victims were already dead.”

The kidnappers later released the herder and woman after collecting ₦3 million at Kotonkarfe forest hideout.
Gwargwada’s traditional ruler, Ugbada Alhaji Hussaini Agabi Mam, confirmed the killings, expressing deep sadness over the tragedy.
He said both young men were murdered because of delayed ransom payments while returning from Rubochi town.
“Their corpses remain unrecovered as hunters and vigilantes search Kotonkarfe forest after mobilization by Kotonkarfe’s chairman.”
The FCT Police Command has yet to release an official statement regarding the tragic incident in Gwargwada.
