Nine surveyors abducted last week in Ondo State have been released after their families reportedly paid N20 million ransom.
The victims were kidnapped while working at a site in Ilu Abo Community, Akure North, with abductors demanding N100 million.

Following the abduction, hundreds of women protested in Akure, urging Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa to intervene for their release.
A family member, Pastor Ajibade Owolanke, confirmed their release on Tuesday night, though their exact location remains undisclosed.
Efforts to contact Ondo State Police Public Relations Officer, Funmilayo Odunlami, were unsuccessful as her phone line was unreachable.
