Kano Anti-Corruption Agency Arrests Kiru LGA Chairman Over ₦100m Land Fraud

The Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission (PCACC) has arrested Abdullahi Mohammed, chairman of Kiru LGA, for allegedly selling land worth ₦100 million meant for a mini stadium.

According to Kabir Kabir, PCACC’s spokesperson, investigations revealed that the land was sold to Mahasum, a private company.

He disclosed that ₦240 million was deposited into Mohammed’s account between November 1, 2024, and February 27, 2025.

PCACC is committed to uncovering the truth, holding those involved accountable, and ensuring justice is served in the case.

The suspect is currently in custody, while the anti-corruption agency continues its investigation into the alleged fraudulent transaction.​
