HDAN Supports New REDAN Leadership, Advocates for Professionalism and Collaboration

The Housing Development Advocacy Network (HDAN) has thrown its weight behind the new leadership of the Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN) to elevate the standards of the real estate sector in Nigeria.

Festus Adebayo, the Executive Director of HDAN, made this known in a statement released in Abuja on Sunday.

He emphasized the importance of professionalism, credibility, and discipline within REDAN, urging the President, Akintoye Adeoye, to prioritize these qualities in steering the association forward.

HDAN commended the leadership of Arc. Ahmed Dangiwa noted that as the Minister of Housing and Urban Development, he has taken significant steps towards enhancing professionalism within the sector. Adebayo said that this marks the first time the housing sector will be led by a professional who comprehensively understands its intricacies, a development that HDAN finds commendable.

HDAN also lauded the commitment of Minister Dangiwa to enforcing regulations and promoting integrity and transparency in the real estate business. Adebayo reiterated that advocating for such principles has been at the core of HDAN’s mission for many years.

Seizing the opportunity, HDAN called upon all housing stakeholders in the country to unite and support the new REDAN leadership. Adebayo affirmed HDAN’s unwavering commitment to supporting professional bodies and promoting the activities of all housing and construction sector professionals. He underscored that HDAN, a pioneering non-governmental organization comprised of professionals from various disciplines, remains steadfast in its dedication to enhancing the housing industry’s standards.
