Africa’s leading non-governmental housing advocacy organization, Housing Development Advocacy Network (HDAN) has extended congratulations to Akintoye Adeoye, the newly inaugurated president of the Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN), along with the newly elected executive members, on their victory.

In a statement issued by Festus Adebayo, the executive director of HDAN, the network expressed optimism for a new era within REDAN and the housing sector at large.

Emphasizing the need for effective leadership, HDAN urged the newly appointed officials to leverage their positions to revitalize REDAN and attract key stakeholders and professionals.

Highlighting the current economic challenges in the country, HDAN underscored the importance of addressing these issues to ensure the realization of affordable housing goals. The network urged REDAN to join in the advocacy for economic reforms that will benefit the real estate sector in Nigeria stating that without these reforms, the quest for accessible housing will be hindered.
