Korede Adedayo, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of FirstTrust Mortgage Bank Plc, has been celebrated as Mortgage Bank CEO of the Year at the prestigious 2024 Africa Housing Awards.

Under his leadership, FirstTrust Mortgage Bank emerged from the successful merger of FBN Mortgages Limited and TrustBond Mortgage Bank Plc, a groundbreaking consolidation that created the largest mortgage bank in Nigeria. This milestone has been hailed as a turning point in the industry, enabling the bank to deliver unparalleled value to customers and stakeholders.
Adedayo’s leadership at FirstTrust has been marked by a customer-centric approach, driving growth through innovative mortgage products and a robust focus on affordable housing solutions.

In addition to his role at FirstTrust, Adedayo is a respected member of the Nigerian financial community. He holds a degree in Accounting from Lagos State University and is a member of the Institute of Directors (IOD) and an Honorary Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (HCIBN). He also serves on the board of the Mortgage Banking Association of Nigeria (MBAN) as a National Executive member and on the board of CIBN Press.
