A devastating fire outbreak destroyed homes, cattle, and six grain silos in Satigal Community, Bunkure Local Government.
Rabiu Kura, Rano Zonal Information Officer, confirmed the incident on Wednesday after reporting it to Emir Muhammad Umaru.
Village Head Shuaibu Abdu stated the fire consumed six households, destroying goods, grains, and cattle worth millions.
The midnight blaze reportedly started from an unattended cooking fire left by one of the affected families.
Expressing sympathy, Emir Muhammad Umaru donated ₦200,000 and urged residents to practice fire safety precautions.
He also pledged to report the incident to Kano State Emergency Relief Management Agency for prompt assistance.
However, Kano State Fire Service said it had yet to receive an official report regarding the fire incident.
