FG Revokes Housing Allocation for 1,357 Subscribers Over Payment Default

The federal government has revoked the Offer of Provisional Allocation of Houses for 1,357 subscribers under the National Housing Programme.

The affected allottees failed to make full and outright payments within the stipulated 90-day period and an additional eight-week grace.

A statement issued by Dr. Shuaib Belgore, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, confirmed the revocation decision on Tuesday.

According to the statement, the revocation strictly applies to individuals who did not fulfill the payment requirements within the deadline.

“The full list of individuals whose Provisional Offer of Allocation has been revoked is now available on the ministry’s website,” it said.

The statement clarified that beneficiaries who successfully completed their payments on or before February 28, 2025, remain unaffected.

All successful beneficiaries are advised to visit the ministry to collect their letters of allocation and take possession immediately.
