The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has approved ₦2,183,399,860 for various contracts, including ₦242.8 million for Microsoft 365 license procurement for the FCT Internal Revenue Service (FCT-IRS).
FCT Minister Nyesom Wike disclosed the approvals on Thursday via his official Facebook page, highlighting efforts to enhance operational efficiency.
The acting Executive Chairman of FCT-IRS, Michael Ango, stated that the investment aligns with FCTA’s digitization strategy to improve tax administration and revenue collection.

He emphasized that the license would transition manual processes to automated systems, enhance internal communication, and improve data storage.
This move follows previous investments in infrastructure, including ₦1.94 billion for earth-moving machines to support urban development efforts.
