In the solemn silence that accompanies the loss of a remarkable soul, we pause to honor the life and legacy of Prince Seyi Lufadeju, a guiding light in the real estate and urban planning industries. His passing has left an irreplaceable void in the hearts of many, especially within the Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN).
Former REDAN President, Wammako, shared a deeply heartfelt tribute to his late Board of Trustees Chairman. In his words, “Goodbye, my dear BOT Chairman. May your gentle soul rest in perfect peace.”
Reflecting on his tenure as president, Wammako recounted the unwavering support and invaluable guidance Prince Lufadeju provided. “I will always remember the words of advice you shared with me during my time as REDAN President. You were my Chairman throughout my tenure, and we worked tremendously well together, united by a shared commitment to advancing the progress of REDAN.”
Prince Lufadeju was more than a leader; he was a mentor and father figure. His extensive experience as Managing Director of Shelter Afrique and his status as a fellow of the Town Planning Institute left an indelible mark on the built environment sector. He was a stakeholder whose wisdom and vision shaped the industry.
“We will miss your fatherly advice and your unmatched wealth of experience,” Wammako continued. “Your insights and leadership have been a cornerstone of REDAN’s growth. The built environment has lost a great mind, but your legacy will continue to inspire us.”
As we bid farewell to this extraordinary leader, we pray that Almighty God grants him eternal rest and comfort to those he leaves behind. Farewell, Prince Seyi Lufadeju. Rest in peace, sir.
