The family of the late Pa David Soremekun Fletcher, located in Ofada land, Obafemi Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State, has issued a strong warning to the public regarding the presence of impersonators and land speculators falsely claiming to represent the family’s interests.

The newly appointed family head, Dr. Ayodele Bajomo, a retired navy captain, along with the Secretary, Mr. Adedeji Shonuga, released an official statement to address the growing concerns.

In the statement, they identified Datatrick Consults Co and lawyer Chief Adekunle Funmilayo as the only authorized representatives with whom the public should engage for any dealings related to the family’s land.

These legal actions officially declared their progenitor as the first settler and founder of Ofada land.

In addition to the confirmed title, the family highlighted pending legal cases over the land. Suits numbered AB/304/2023, AB/662/2023, AB/559/2023, and AB/593/2023 are currently underway at the Abeokuta High Court.

These cases are directed against alleged trespassers and those engaging in illegal dealings with the property.
