Delta Governor Urges Real Estate Firms to Lower Rental Costs

Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has urged real estate firms to reduce skyrocketing rental costs to support affordability.

Represented by his Chief of Staff, Mr. Johnson Erijo, the governor made this appeal at PWAN’s 13th anniversary convention in Asaba.

He emphasized that the current high rent prices are unsustainable, especially for public service workers struggling with financial burdens.

“I urge real estate firms to apply innovative strategies that will make housing more affordable for residents across the state,” he stated.

Governor Oborevwori praised PWAN’s leadership, highlighting its transformation from a humble startup into a key real estate player.

He noted that the company’s adaptability, innovation, and excellence have earned it national recognition among clients and investors alike.

The Global President of PWAN, Dr. Obioma Onwumere, described the firm as an empowerment-driven organization fostering entrepreneurship nationwide.

He explained that PWAN operates on a mentorship system where each affiliate empowers ten others, ensuring continuous economic growth.

“This initiative will significantly transform Nigeria’s empowerment landscape by fostering business opportunities and financial independence,” Onwumere stated.

Acting Managing Director, Prof. Julius Oyedemi, pledged to uphold PWAN’s vision, reinforcing its mission to drive sustainable housing solutions.
