Dangote Cement plans to raise N100bn through series 13 and 14 Commercial Paper issuance.

Dangote Cement Plc is currently issuing its series 13 and 14 Commercial Paper (CP) worth up to N100 billion as part of its N300 billion Commercial Paper issuance programme.

The issuance is set to close on Tuesday, April 16, 2024.

Dangote Cement is the leading cement producer in Sub-Saharan Africa, with a total capacity of 52Mta (35.3Mta in Nigeria) across its operations in 10 African countries.

The company operates a fully integrated “quarry-to-customer” business, encompassing manufacturing, sales, and distribution of cement.

Through its investments, Dangote Cement has helped Nigeria transition from importing cement to becoming an exporter, supplying neighbouring countries. The company established a N150 billion commercial paper issuance programme on August 12, 2021, and later increased it to N300 billion on July 13, 2023. This allows Dangote Cement to issue commercial paper notes (CPs) as needed.
