Dangote Cement has named Gbenga Fapohunda as its substantive Group Financial Officer, effective January 1, 2025.
The company announced the appointment in a corporate filing with the Nigerian Exchange Ltd. on Wednesday.
Group MD Arvind Pathak highlighted Fapohunda’s 22 years of expertise in finance, risk management, and corporate strategy.
Fapohunda holds a doctorate in Strategic Management and an MBA in Finance, alongside multiple professional certifications.
He previously held executive finance roles at Japan Tobacco International, UPS, and British American Tobacco.
