Aliko Dangote, Chairman of Dangote Foundation, and Microsoft CEO Bill Gates are attending the National Economic Council (NEC) meeting at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Wednesday.
The meeting, presided over by Vice President Kashim Shettima, is set to provide a comprehensive review of the nation’s economic policies, with a particular focus on addressing the recent increase in fuel prices.
In addition to economic discussions, the meeting will also cover critical health and nutrition issues.

Among the governors in attendance are Babagana Zulum of Borno State, Bala Mohammed of Bauchi, Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa, Duoye Diri of Bayelsa, Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi, and Lawan Dauda of Zamfara.
Deputy governors representing their principals, along with some ministers and state commissioners, are also present at the meeting. The discussions are expected to yield significant insights into the direction of Nigeria’s economic and social policies amidst current challenges.
