Abbey Mortgage Bank, a prominent primary mortgage bank in Nigeria, continues its dedication to eradicating hunger among vulnerable individuals in society.
In an effort to reach out to those in need and alleviate the impact of hunger and poverty, the bank has distributed more than 400 food packs to the Kuramo community in Victoria Island, Lagos State.
This initiative falls under the bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility program called “Nourishing Communities.”
Mr. Dipo Adeoye, the Executive Director of Treasury & Business Growth at Abbey Mortgage Bank, emphasized the bank’s commitment to social responsibility and its aim to make a positive impact beyond finance. He stated that amidst the current economic challenges, the bank recognizes the significance of giving back to society through the Abbey Food Drive.

Adeoye further highlighted that this initiative is part of the bank’s 32nd-anniversary commemoration, underscoring its enduring commitment to community service. Kunle Aderopo, one of the beneficiaries, expressed gratitude for the timely support, acknowledging the financial strain faced by many in the community.
