The Association of Estate Agency of Nigeria (AEAN), National Association of Realtors (NAR), and other professional bodies have reaffirmed their commitment to promoting ethical practices in the real estate sector.
They aim to tackle fraud, enhance bilateral relationships, and improve inter-association capacity through collaboration.
Jatto Isah, the National Chairman of AEAN, highlighted fraudulent practices by unregistered individuals as a major challenge in the sector. He emphasized the association’s efforts to bring sanity through training and partnerships with international organizations.

Kelvin Brown, the Second Vice President of NAR, stressed the importance of educating politicians about the real estate industry, noting their lack of expertise in this area.
Agaba Vincent, Chairman of the Governing Council, Real Estate Institute of East Africa, emphasized the real estate industry’s role as an economic anchor, contributing significantly to the GDP. He urged practitioners to uphold professionalism to stabilize the industry.

Adeniji Adele, President of the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI) Africa & Near East, urged practitioners to collaborate effectively, exchange ideas, and expand frontiers to advance the real estate sector in Africa.
