The Nasarawa State Governor, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, has hailed the Nasarawa Technology Village as the new Silicon Valley, stating that the project will fast-track the industrial revolution of the state.
Sule made this statement during his speech at the commissioning of the Nasarawa Technology Village Phase 1 and groundbreaking of the technology hub in Nasarawa State today.
He stated that, just like Silicon Valley in the United States, the technology hub is a bold step to further drive the technological revolution in the country and create a knowledge-based economy.

He said, “This project stands as a cornerstone to capitalize on the opportunities of the current technology revolution. We are determined not only to keep pace with technological advancement but to build a knowledge-based economy to make Nasarawa State a powerhouse. This is a bold step towards industrializing our state.”
The event featured the commissioning of the first phase of the project, comprising 100 housing units, and the groundbreaking of the Technology Hub. The Nasarawa Technology Village is a modern reflection of the fusion of affordable housing and technology.
