In a significant move towards addressing Nigeria’s housing deficit, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has inaugurated the groundbreaking ceremony for the pilot phase of his ambitious housing project named Renewed Hope Cities and Estates Development Programme.
The ceremony took place at Karsana, a suburban area of Abuja.
Under the initial phase of this initiative, President Tinubu aims to deliver 50,000 housing units to Nigerians across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) by the end of 2024. Apart from the 3,112 units already underway in Karsana, similar construction sites are actively progressing in 12 states nationwide.
