Delta State Government Presents Certificates of Occupancy for 3,747 Hectares of Land to Nigerian Navy

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori presented Certificates of Occupancy for a significant tract of land to the Nigerian Navy, earmarked for their forward operation base in Escravos, Warri Southwest Local Council of Delta State.

During the formal handover at the Government House, Asaba, Governor Oborevwori expressed gratitude to Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla and his delegation for the Nigerian Navy’s vital role in maintaining peace, particularly in the state’s waterways. He pledged ongoing collaboration between his administration and security agencies for the state’s advancement.

Highlighting the importance of the Navy’s efforts in securing Delta State’s waterways, Oborevwori praised their commendable operations over the past seven months. While acknowledging improvements, he emphasized the continuous need for heightened security measures.

In response, Vice Admiral Ogalla conveyed appreciation to the governor and the people of Delta for their consistent support to the Nigerian Navy. He reaffirmed the Navy’s commitment to safeguarding the nation’s oil assets to ensure optimal production.
