The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) is set to digitalize the Building Contravention Task Force’s operations, enhancing efficiency, curbing corruption, and boosting revenue.
Felix Amaechi Obuah, Coordinator of the Abuja Metropolitan Management Council (AMMC), announced this during his first-anniversary address to top management staff and Task Force members.
He emphasized that shifting from analogue to digital operations within the Department of Development Control will streamline processes, reduce bureaucracy, and improve overall effectiveness.

The Task Force will prioritize compliance monitoring, enforcement, unauthorized development regularization, revenue assurance, financial transparency, and promoting public engagement for voluntary compliance.
Obuah reaffirmed his commitment to innovation and urged departments like Lands, Urban Planning, and Legal Services to support the initiative.
