The Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, Tourism, and the Creative Economy has signed an MoU for Abuja Creative City’s development.
Led by Barrister Hannatu Musawa, the project aims to establish Nigeria as Africa’s leading hub for innovation, media, and entertainment.
The creative city, which will span 50 hectares in Abuja, will feature world-class infrastructure inspired by NEOM, Dubai Media City, and Techhub London.
Jummai Ali, Special Assistant on Compliance and Coordination, confirmed this after the Minister’s visit to the project’s proposed construction site.

She stated that Abuja Creative City would promote sustainability by utilizing renewable technologies and minimizing environmental impact effectively.
The city will showcase Nigeria’s arts, music, and film industry, positioning it as Africa’s cultural flagship and entertainment powerhouse.
Abuja Creative City will include cinemas, theatres, and recreation centres, providing creative professionals with better opportunities for global recognition.
Investors will benefit from tax incentives, reduced utility costs, and simplified business registration, making the city attractive to global enterprises.
