Fintiri Applauds Diri’s Achievements in Bayelsa’s Road and Housing Development

Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Fintiri has praised Bayelsa State Governor Douye Diri for achieving significant infrastructural development within five years.

Fintiri gave this commendation while inaugurating a new Commissioners Quarters and a dual carriage road in New Yenagoa City.

He described Diri’s leadership as transformative, emphasizing his commitment to providing infrastructure that directly improves citizens’ lives across Bayelsa State.

“Anyone who provides infrastructure does so for the greatest number of people, ensuring development reaches all communities equitably,” Fintiri stated.

He added that Yenagoa’s transformation is undeniable, crediting Diri’s administration for successfully distributing development projects across Bayelsa’s communities.

Fintiri noted that despite Bayelsa’s challenging terrain, Diri has effectively delivered on campaign promises, strengthening the PDP’s governance reputation.

In response, Diri expressed gratitude to host communities for supporting government projects, stressing the importance of strategic urban planning.

He also instructed Lubrik Construction Company to extend the newly inaugurated road, linking it to Tombia airport road by year-end.

Commissioner for Lands and Survey Perepuighe Biewari described the completed housing project as a catalyst for further economic development.

Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure Moses Teibowei highlighted the project’s impact on economic growth, security enhancement, and improved accessibility statewide.

Diri also acknowledged Governor Fintiri as a strong ally of the Niger Delta, appreciating his support for oil revenue fairness.
