A building under construction on Oriwu Street, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, collapsed, trapping multiple individuals beneath the debris.
Lagos State Police Command spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the incident, stating that it occurred around 4:00 p.m. Wednesday.
Emergency responders rescued fourteen individuals from the rubble and transported them to Lagos Island General Hospital for treatment.
Authorities have mobilized security personnel to the scene, ensuring order while rescue operations continue to locate remaining victims.
