The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) sealed multiple establishments across Lagos for violating environmental laws and endangering public health.
The enforcement targeted businesses causing noise pollution and operating illegal gas plants in Surulere, Lagos Mainland, Agege, and Kosofe areas.
Businesses Affected by the Crackdown
Hotels, religious centres, gas plants, and factories violating environmental regulations were sealed by the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA).
Hotels: Home Guest House, Feel at Home, Pholar Suites, Oak Spring Hotel, and 18plus Hotel were all sealed by LASEPA.
Religious Centres:
Assemblies of God Church, Redeemed Christian Church of God, and Anwarul Islam Movement faced closure for excessive noise pollution.
Statewide Enforcement Operations Continue

The agency extended enforcement actions to Festac Town, Abule Ado, Satellite Town, Ori Ade Amuwo, Agboju, Amuwo, and Navy Town.
Additional affected businesses included lounges, hotels, warehouses, event centers, and other commercial establishments violating Lagos State environmental protection laws.

Woody’s Lounge, Lifestyle Hotel, Obiagu Bar Lounge & Event Center, Flexus Hotel & Suites, Fairview Hotel, Hot Sport Bar.
LASEPA’s Commitment to Environmental Regulations
LASEPA’s General Manager, Dr. Babatunde Ajayi, emphasized that public health, safety, and environmental sustainability remain the agency’s top enforcement priorities.
“Noise pollution and illegal gas plants endanger lives, disrupt public peace, and violate state laws requiring strict compliance,” he said.
Ajayi reaffirmed LASEPA’s zero-tolerance policy for violators, warning that enforcement actions would continue across Lagos without compromise.
