Gombe State Governor, Inuwa Yahaya, has approved the appointment of a new Chairman and Board Members for the Gombe State Housing Corporation as part of efforts to address housing challenges and provide affordable housing solutions to the people of the state.
In a statement conveyed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, the Governor emphasized that the new leadership includes representatives from the state’s three Senatorial Districts and key Ministries.
The newly appointed members are:
- Arc. Mohammed Habu Shinga – Executive Chairman
- Mohammed Gurama Dukku – Representative, Gombe North
- Saleh Ahmed Danmasani – Representative, Gombe Central
- Abubakar Hussaini Cham – Representative, Gombe South
Other members of the board include representatives from the Ministry of Housing and the Ministry of Finance. The Governor expects the new leadership to work towards fulfilling the government’s mandate of providing affordable housing to residents of the state.
In addition, Governor Yahaya has approved the reorganization of Gombe United Football Club, appointing new leadership to improve the club’s performance and enhance sports management in the state. The newly appointed leaders are:
