Travelers Left Stranded as Heavy Rain Washes Away Gombe-Yola Highway

Motorists and commuters are stranded along the Gombe-Yola highway due to severe flooding that has rendered this vital route impassable.

The flooding, caused by heavy rainfall, washed away significant portions of the road near Lafiya Lamorde, a town bordering Gombe State. Travelers are left helpless as access to the highway is blocked, with many vehicles unable to proceed.
